Biography
As the Chief Executive Officer of New Meta Entertainment, Inc. (NME), Michael Prindiville is responsible for overseeing business operations, new ventures, team management and investments. A digital media company, NME encompasses the iconic 18-year old esports organization, Dignitas, the women's gaming empowerment platform, Raidiant, and the sales and marketing agency, S-Tier. With over 10+ years serving as a senior leader and operator in the sports, media and gaming industry, Prindiville has established himself as an innovator and visionary. Under Prindiville’s tenure he has established bi-coastal headquarters in Metropolitan New York City and Los Angeles, spearheaded the organization's Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, and developed the ancillary businesses that run alongside Dignitas. In 2019, Prindiville executed the capital raise that formed NME, acquired a League of Legends franchise in the League Championship Series, and secured key investors including Fertitta Entertainment, Delaware North and Susquehanna International Group, to join Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, who had acquired Dignitas as an esports organization in 2016. Currently, Dignitas fields world-class teams and content creators in League of Legends, Rocket League, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant, and Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. Prior to his position with NME, Prindiville was the Head of New Property Development for NBC Sports Ventures overseeing esports. During his five years with NBC, Prindiville created, operated and Executive Produced the Universal Open, the first Rocket League tournament broadcast on digital and television, co-developed the NHL’s inaugural esports competition, and oversaw venture capital investment opportunities in the gaming and esports space.
